Obituary:
Melvin James Sears, 74 of Kennewick, WA, passed from this life on August 16, 2019, at home. Melvin was born June 26, 1945, in Sheridan, WY, to Emmett Leroy Sears and La Reva Geneva (Shoemaker) Sears. Melvin served his country in the US Army. He married Ancil Jean Sears on June 26, 19??. Melvin was a retired railroad line switch operator. He lived in the Tri-Cities for 67 years. He was a
member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and working on family cars. You will be missed, Dad!
He is survived by his daughter Sandy (Ralph) Tanguma, a son Doyle Roberts and his wife, and an adopted daughter, Dora Puzycki and her husband, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his wife Ancil Jean Sears, and a son Tony Qualls.
A Celebration of Life and potluck will be held on, September 21, 2019, at 1:00-3:00 pm, Eagles Lodge #2485, 115 N Fruitland St, Kennewick, WA 99336.

Melvin J. Sears, 74, of Kennewick, died Aug. 16 in Kennewick.
He was born in Sheridan, Wyo., and lived in Finley for 55 years.
He was the retired owner of AJ Flooring.
